More Furniture!
I went out yesterday with alot of the stuff from the garage and put it around toronto, on bloor, in chinatown, and on queen! here are some photos for you!

M-One-11
Hey Hey!
The wall for sketch was tons of fun to make and people liked it from what i herd! i ran into a few awsome artists and fans there and im hoping i won one of the 2 canvases by TheSnowyOwl.com. Here are some pictures from M-One-11:
in other news, here is a shot of some of the sdtuff that will go out to the strets in the next few weeks. There is a dresser, a table, 2 computer monitors, a dvd player, a microwave, a fax machine, and about 8 fridge doors!

this comming friday in toronto at M - ONE - 11 there is going to be a charity art auction in their nw gallery. WKY will be painting a section in the back as well as have a piece or two for the auction. It should be alot of fun and its for a good cause so get your buts down there!!

November Update
Hey
sorry for not updating this so often but now seems like a good time! so, what can you expect from WKY in the forth comming weeks? Well let me start by saying that the designs for the new shirts are ready its just been a pain in the ass trying to make the screens because we decided were gonna do it our selves now rather than pay some factory. This way we can do more designs in more colors as well as make some super limited unique shirts that are so rad! anyway were trying to make this all happen befor christmas but dont get mad if we cant!
As far as pasting, there is a TON of furniture that will pop up around Toronto in the forth comming weeks. Right now there are 5 fridge doors, 2 tables, a dresser, a computer, a fax machine, and some other item i cant remember! Anyway lots of stuff is going to go out and the pictures WILL be on here and myspace and the website as soon as that happens!
The show in Cali just ended and all the decks will be put up for order on the website in a little while. A few have been sold and were done soo pretty fast. they are only $50 plus shipping.
Also, one last thing, there is word that there may be a WKY show in Mexico in late Jan/early Feb!! We are hopping this happens because it will be SOOOO much fun!

LA and the first show!
Lets start off by saying wow! the Trip was amazing. the set up for the show to me lots of time but was so much better than i had planed! WKY is really planed on how it turnned out. it was the first show so we wanted there to be many different elements in volved and thats why every wall has its own feeling to it. i hope you all enjoy the pics!
La was awome to and i got to see the work of the people i look up to like OBEY, Banksy, Buff Monster, The London Police, and Space Invaders! there is so much great street work in LA and it has really prompted WKY to try alot of new things! tonight more furniture was picked up and will be worked on tommorow! look fo it on the street. the bombs and post its will go out soon befor its to cold and we hope to have a few other things going. anyway sorry to kep you waiting but here are the show pices for everyone that couldnt make it out!

Paste in YOUR city
hey
we have been getting alot of requests from people wanting to paste up some WKY monsters in their city. We hav probably said no to you. well now is you chance to get in on the action! if you would like to paste in your city, town, whatever it may be pleasee read the following:
1. Wheat Pasting is not a legal act in most parts of the world, especially on governmnt owned property. Please look up the laws and so on that govern your city and see where it is or isnot legal to put posters.
2. Paste at your own risk! WKY is not responsible for you actions!
3. Please ONLY paste in leagal designated zones! We DO NOT condone pasting on govenment buildings, private property, and or anyother ILLEGAL locations. Please pase old and recycled frniture and and/or legal walls. Please dont past on street signs, they are where they are for good reason! a friend of WKY just got thrown in jail for a week for stickering signs, so be warned!
Now if all that is ok with you your ready to go! here is what to do:
1. Get together some friends and assign each one of you a name such as "The Ape" or "The Bat" or which ever charactor you would like to be!
2. Go to a hardware store and buy a box of Wallpaper Paste and brush. there are some nice thick wallpaper brushes. We recomend PolyBrand paste if you can find it. It comes in a powder form that you just have to mix with water
3. Take the file that we send you to your local print/photocopy shop and get asmany done as you would like!
4. Find the wall or furniture you would like to cover. Put a coat of past on the area, place down the monster, and then brush over top of it to make sure its on good!
when you have read all of the above and are ready to go please send an email to info@wekillyou.net and we will send you a PDF of the files asap!

A Funny Story
A friend of mine just told me this story:
"So I was at this cafe getting a drink during this film screening next-door at the bookstore... there was this lady in line in front of me with her little kid(Maaaaybe 5 or 6 years old). So the kid is chillin' on the counter, playing with a dunny(no joke) and the lady points at my shirt(WKY) and says to her little boy "hey, look at that, what's that?!" and the little boy turned away and started crying! Even though this whole situation was totally the mom's fault, I felt bad- so I was like "it's not a scary monster, it's a nice monster" and then the little kid was all cool with it and started making his dunny dance on the counter, etc. The lady bought 2 cookies, but didn't give me any...

Wky just got back from a week in the wilderness.
